2001年本科毕业于西北工业大学,2004年获新加坡国立大学(National University of Singapore)硕士学位,2009年获荷兰代尔夫特理工大学(Delft University of Technology, TUD)博士学位。此后曾先后在TUD进行博士后研究,在荷兰飞利浦研究院(Philips Research Eindhoven)任研究科学家。现任中科院苏州医工所研究员、博士生导师。
研究领域包括复杂系统的数据驱动建模与控制理论、及其在生物系统、光机电系统中的应用,以及光学诊断与治疗技术研究。近年来主持了国家自然科学基金面上项目、国家重点研发计划课题、江苏省自然科学基金、苏州市基础研究项目、医工所基础前沿专项等项目。在多个IEEE汇刊(TCYB、TIE、TAC、TSP、TBME)、以及Pattern Recognit、App. Energy、Opt. Lett.、Opt. Express等期刊、会议论文集和书籍上发表SCI/EI论文70余篇;作为第一作者获得国际自动控制联合会(IFAC)论文奖1项;获授权发明专利30余件。曾获得欧盟Marie Curie Fellowship (2005-2008)。
长期受邀为IEEE(国际电气和电子工程师协会)、IFAC(国际自动控制联合会)、OSA(美国光学学会)等的期刊和会议论文审稿。
